V60 Brew Guide
Clean, bright pour-over recipe for a single cup using V60.
V60 produces bright, clean coffee. Medium-fine grind highlights origin flavors.
Recipe:
22g coffee (medium-fine, like granulated sugar), 330g water. Total brew ~2:30.
Preheat:
Place filter in V60. Pour hot water (92-96°C) through to rinse filter and heat dripper. Discard water.
Prepare coffee:
Measure 22g. Grind medium-fine. Add to filter. Shape into even inverted cone.
Bloom:
Zero scale, start timer. Pour 30g water from center outward to wet all grounds evenly.
Main pour:
At 0:30, pour remaining 300g in slow spiral - center out, avoiding filter walls. Keep water level 2 inches below rim.
Finish:
Complete pour by 2:00. Let drip remaining 30 seconds.
Serve:
Remove filter. Pour immediately.
Notes:
Water 92-96°C for clarity.
Steady spiral pour prevents channeling.
Even bed = even extraction.
Adjust ratios and timing to match your coffee and taste.
